Review of the Cancun Chichen Itza, cenote, and Valladolid day tour, with pricing, transport tips, guide quality, shopping stops, and value advice.

“When booking this excursion, I had no idea how inclusive and timely this tour was going to be. Our tour guide, Louis, was the best guide we could have asked for. The whole two-hour ride, Louis was giving us helpful facts about his heritage and the culture of the Mayans before reaching our first stop. Because of Louis, we were honored to witness and participate in a Mayan blessing performed by a genuine Shaman. Touring Chichen Itza was insane to witness in real life. Again, Louis was the best at making sure that we weren't being scammed by other vendors at the site, as well as being the best teacher…”

Both Cesar and the driver, Jorge, always ensured that we were safe and taken care, and even provided water for the travelers. We had a truly wonderful experience that we will never forget. We highly recommend a visit to Chichen Itza while in Mexico. Leeann and the crew from Trinidad 🇹🇹”

5.Private Roundtrip Transportation from Cancun Airport to Cancun Hotel Zone

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 5,086 reviews · 30 minutes (approx.)

Cancun airport to hotel transport for up to seven people, with air-conditioned vans, roundtrip service, 24/7 support, and free cancellation.

“This was an awful experience from start to finish. Our private shuttle wasn’t private, we waited over 40 minutes for a pick up from the airport and at pick up from the resort to the airport I selected a 13:00 pick up from the resort to the airport only for the company to decide that 11:30 worked better for them and when we weren’t ready they cancelled our ride forcing us to take a taxi to the airport. Worst customer service ever!!”

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 2,383 reviews · 10 hours (approx.) · from $53

Review of Cancun’s Isla Mujeres catamaran cruise with reef snorkeling, open bar, lunch, beach time, costs, crowds, and practical tips.

“We drove ourselves. Semi valet parking, check in was like everything else with lots of people. Crowded but organized. In my very humble opinion, this was OUR party boat. It didn’t seem like many other people wanted to party but with the good music my husband and I danced and drank the entire way. Husband said snorkeling was a bit rushed and there wasn’t much to see (I didn’t do it). Buffet was decent. Understanding that all boats stop at this location, their purpose is quantity over quality. I’m not mad about it. I had tortillas, spaghetti and chicken. Just what I needed to keep me going for the party…”
